Brentwood Pups Grown Up…
TychoDiploma Tycho
(Ch. Ketka Sticks and Stones X Ch. Ketka’s Kelsea of Brentwood)”Tycho” was named after the largest crater on the moon, reports his astronomy-hobbyist  owner from the Detroit, Michigan area.  Tycho graduated in first place from his puppy Kindergarten class, pictured with his diploma above; the evaluation consisted of the same criteria as the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate.  Amazingly, Tycho was only 4-1/2 months old at his “graduation”!  Congratulations to Tycho and his “dad”!!

Update:  Annie’s family returned to Brentwood two years later to adopt “Mick”, Annie’s half brother.

Chloe lives in Michigan as a special friend to her 15-year old owner, Victoria, and lives up to the Border Terrier ideal of getting along well with other dogs — her “big sister”, Emily.  She and the cat, however, have just decided to call it a truce!

(Ch. Conundrum Rambling Blues CGC X Ch. Ketka’s Kelsea of Brentwood)This young fella has gone to start his show career with Ann and Bruce McPhee of Trekhond Border Terriers on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada.  Shown here at his 2nd weekend of showing (3 days), he took WD, two BOB’s, two Group 4’s, and Best Puppy in Group for a total of 7 points that weekend.  Not a bad start for 6-month old pup!Journey then finished the final point of his Canadian championship at just under 18 months of age after taking the winter off from showing.  The next day, he went Best of Breed over a special! Congratulations and a fine job of owner-handling to Ann and Bruce!
